Depending on your jurisdiction, Settle applies limits per transaction and for time periods. The limits applied are either required by the law or/and by Settle in order to reduce the risk of operating Settle and safeguarding the users' activities.
- Limits before verifying your identity
You can use Settle even without verifying your identity. Until you are fully identified, the following limits apply:
Maximum limit per transaction: €50
Maximum balance: €150
Monthly volume (counts both sending and receiving): €150
In case you want to increase your transaction limits, you will need to verify your identity.
- Limits while waiting for identity approval
Once you verify your identity, our compliance staff will review your application and revert to you. Usually, you will get an answer within 24 hours, but it might take up to 3 business days in some cases. In this period, your transaction limits are still lower.
- Limits after verified identity
After your identity verification (and no other restrictions applied), you will be able to transact more freely as your limits will be significantly raised.
Maximum limit per transaction: €250
Maximum balance: €4000
Monthly volume (counts both sending and receiving): €2500
