When interacting with a business using Settle you may receive a request from the business asking permission to access your data. This is a convenient way for you and the business to exchange data in a secure way, such as your loyalty card information, name and shipping details, email and more.
With Settle, you are always in control of your data. You decide who gets to access what. Each party needs to ask permission for each data point and type of use.
To view and edit permissions, just tap the profile icon in the top right corner on the “home” screen. Tap the option “Permissions” and you see a list of all parties who have ever sent you a permission request and by tapping each party you can see and edit the specific permissions.
